Staff Accountant - The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa

Join the Accounting Team at  The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa as a Staff Accountant, where precision meets purpose. In this role, you'll support the preparation of daily revenue files and help process receivables-contributing to the financial heartbeat of our organization. Duties Include:

• Prepare, audit, and reconcile daily revenue and labor flash reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Manage all receivables, including group billings, monthly AR invoices (Hotel, Spa, F&B, etc.), and rebilling of past-due accounts.

• Review, post, and reconcile journal entries to meet monthly close deadlines.

• Assist with accounts payable, including weekly check runs and vendor payments.

• Reconcile internal processes and ensure compliance with accounting policies and control procedures.

• Handle monthly sales tax filings and respond to guest and owner billing inquiries with professionalism and service-minded solutions.

Location:  The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa - Avon, CO.

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Full Time, Year Round

Pay Rate: $28 / hour 

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9-5

You're inquisitive, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in your accounting career. You excel at juggling multiple tasks, working through challenges independently, and staying organized under pressure. A college degree in accounting or a related field is preferred, along with 1-3 years of relevant experience. Strong Excel skills are essential, and you’re always looking for ways to improve processes and expand your knowledge.
