Vice President of Business Applications
East West Hospitality is seeking a curious, people-oriented leader to reshape how we manage and deliver business applications across the company. The Vice President of Business Applications role is designed for a leader who brings both strategic vision and hands-on execution, and who thrives on creating clarity in complex environments. The ideal candidate is also AI-curious — actively exploring emerging tools, experimenting with new capabilities, and thinking creatively about how AI can elevate processes, systems, and the overall business.

This individual will play a critical leadership role in building frameworks that improve visibility of work, enhance predictability of delivery, and create the operational rhythm our teams and partners can rely on. They will design and implement intake, prioritization, and delivery models that guide how business applications evolve across the organization.
This role spans multiple business environments, including hotel operations, HOA management, vacation rental operations, and centralized corporate functions. The right candidate brings strong business acumen and the ability to convene leaders, align perspectives, and drive cross-functional decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a multi-year roadmap for business applications aligned with company growth objectives.
- Own the business application ecosystem: evaluate, implement, optimize, support, and retire systems.
- Build scalable frameworks for intake, prioritization, delivery, and application governance.
- Partner with business leaders to clarify needs, align priorities, and co-design solutions.
- Lead and grow a small (initially 2–3 person) blended team of business application leaders, analysts, and technical specialists.
- Identify opportunities to incorporate AI-driven capabilities into workflows, decision-making, and user experience.
- Coordinate closely with IT and Data teams to ensure cohesive architecture, integration, and governance.
- Drive adoption through change management, training, and thoughtful rollout strategies.
- Communicate with transparency, ensuring clarity around decisions, priorities, tradeoffs, and timelines.
Location: Colorado - Front Range, Vail or Roaring Fork Valley (Hybrid or Remote, depending on candidate location)
Start Date: March 2026
Employment Type: Full Time, Year Round
Salary: 165k-225k + 15% annual bonus potential

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 6+ years of progressive senior leadership experience in business applications, systems implementation, PMO, or related roles.
- Proven experience building frameworks, implementing applications, and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate operational needs into technology outcomes.
- High emotional intelligence and relationship-building skills; able to influence and lead without authority.
- AI-curious, with demonstrated interest in applying emerging tools to improve business performance.
- Experience collaborating with IT, Data teams, and external vendors.
- Familiarity with hospitality, property management, real estate, or development is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
